 How do I make money with AFFCommerce?
You make money by selling products in your virtual store. First you have to sign up for an account and create a store. Then, put a link(s) on your website to your customized V-store. The goal is to get your regular users to browse your new store and buy products from you. Every time you make a sale, you earn an affiliate commission. When do I get paid?
Forget about the days of waiting for months to get your check - AFFCommerce pays its licenses every month! There is one stipulation - you must accrue $100 of affiliate commissions to get a check.

Who will host my store and pay for the bandwidth?
We host all of the stores on our servers and subsequently pay all the bandwidth costs. This enables our webmasters to send as much traffic as possible to their V-store(s) without ever worrying about bandwidth.

 Can I use 1 store for many sites?
You can set your store up however you want. If you want to build one store, and send traffic from multiple sites to that store, great! If you prefer to have a separate store for each of your sites, go ahead. As a AFFcommerce webmaster, you have the freedom to do whatever you please with your V-store(s)

 Is there a minimum sales quota for my V-store?
Not at all. However, you will not receive a check until you accrue $100 in commissions.

 What happens if I don’t make $100 in a month?
Your balance is carried over to the next month until you accrue $100 in affiliate commissions. Once you hit the $100 mark, you are eligible to receive a check at the beginning of the following month.

 What do the commission percentages mean?
The commission percentage is how much money you make on every sale you complete. The percentage represents what portion of every sale you keep. The percentage also determines the prices of the products in your store. The lower the commission, the lower the prices; the higher the commission, the higher the prices. So, for instance, if you select the lowest commission option, your prices will be very competitive. If you use the highest commission options, your prices will be approximately full retail. Since there are three commission levels, you can customize your pricing and monthly income.

 How do I pick a commission rate?
AFFCommerce offers a 3-tiered payout structure so you can decide how much money you make. The commission rates determine the pricing of the products in your store. If you pick a high commission rate (Full Retail) you will make more money per sale, but your prices will be slightly less competitive. If you pick a low commission rate (Aggressive) you will make less money per sale, but your store will offer low prices. At AFFCommerce, we believe that you should be able to determine your commission rate and your store’s pricing.

 How do I know what product to put in my store?
AFFCommerce licenses can sell all types of entertainment products in their V-stores. You should analyze your site and your site’s visitors and determine what types of products they would be interested in. The easy way out is to offer everything and see what happens, but if you run a niche site, it might work better if you target your product offerings to your users. For instance, if you run a gay news site, it would make sense to sell gay products and maybe mainstream movies, but no straight porn. If you run a fan site for Mel Gibson it would make sense to sell mainstream products. If you run an erotic fiction site, it might make sense to have a sex toy store, etc.

 How do I put my logo on my store?
Putting a logo on your store is essential to branding your store as a part of your site. First you must login to your AFFCommerce account. Once you have created a V- Store, select the store that the logo will be added to and then click the “edit” link next to “Store Preferences.” In the “Store Logo” box, type in the link for your graphic. The graphic must reside on your server. Once you enter the link for your graphic, you’re done.
